Fresh Pantry Recipes: Korean Marinated Quail Eggs

For these easy marinated quail eggs, I used my Fresh Pantry MealPrep™ Bowl to rinse and mix the marinade in the same bowl, keeping prep simple and mess-free. Once everything was ready, I transferred the eggs and marinade into the FreshPrep™ Airtight Container, which keeps the eggs fully submerged while they soak up all the savoury, garlicky flavours. After 24–48 hours in the fridge, you’ll have a delicious make-ahead snack or side dish that’s ready whenever you are.

Ingredients
1 can quail eggs (peeled and drained)
1/2 onion, diced
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup water
2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp minced garlic
2 tsp apple cider vinegar

Method
• Drain the canned quail eggs.
• Mix the marinade ingredients in MealPrep™ bowl until the sugar dissolves.
• Add the quail eggs in the FreshPrep™ air tight container and add the marinade in.
• Seal and refrigerate for 24–48 hours to marinate.
• Serve chilled or at room temperature with rice or as a snack.
